In 14C Europe, Ecclesia and Synagoga, two mythical female figures appeared representing emergent Christianity and declining Judaism. Entombed in stone they decorated the entrances of many holy buildings. In this story they are reincarnated as Clesia and Syna. It follows the young women as they travel through time from the Exodus from Egypt to the battlefields of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
